Want to get all the tech tips faster and have archived for future projects? Aluminum is easier to work with for me. The hole pattern was designed by tracing it from the kick starter three-hole flywheel pattern. Hex screws. The large hole in the center fits very closely right up to the crank threads. Aluminum helps here too!

Two Stroke Twin Tank: Cushman Trackster | Bring a Trailer
Dan Gilbertsons Trackster project. This project took about 6 months to complete. To begin, I had to build the tools for the Trackster overhaul project. The one I built, you were able to disassemble the power train all the way down to the engine frame and reassemble everything at about waist level.

This Cushman Trackster is an interesting, fiberglass bodied, 29 horse, two-stroke, flat-twin powered utility vehicle built in a few different cabin configurations, of which this open type seems to have been the most popular. Said to run and drive great, it could use some light cosmetics, and though Goodyear-made rubber tracks are cracked in places, the seller says they still function well. Special thanks to BaT reader Kyle K.
